Accompanied by headmistress L. Kamalyan and English teacher H. Bisharyan, the students of the educational complex named after Mashtots participated in the summer school program at St Edward's School in Oxford. The program was held by International House, an internationally recognized organization. In addition to the 20-hour weekly English classes, the students participated in various afternoon and evening activities, full-day and half-day excursions.

At the end of the course, the students were granted Certificates indicating their level of language proficiency.
