SUMMER SCHOOL AT OXFORD, UNITED KINGDOM
Students from the M. Mashtots Educational Complex, accompanied by Principal L. Kamalyan and English teacher H. Bisharyan, attended a summer course at St. Edward's School in Oxford, United Kingdom.
In addition to 20 hours of weekly English language classes, the students participated in various masterclasses and excursions. Some of the students were involved in a special program designed for future leaders.
The excursions in Oxford included the following locations:
- Christ Church, the oldest and most famous college in Oxford
- New College, where scenes from the Harry Potter movies were filmed
- Punting on the River Cherwell
- Natural History Museum
- Museum of the History of Science
- Windsor Castle, the oldest and largest inhabited castle in the world, which serves as an official residence for British monarchs
The excursions in London followed this itinerary:
- Tower of London, a castle located on the north bank of the River Thames and a historical center of the city
- Tower Bridge
- The British Museum
- Big Ben and London Bridge
- Westminster Abbey
- Houses of Parliament
- St. James's Park
- London Eye
- Buckingham Palace
At the end of the course, students received qualification certificates indicating their level of language proficiency.
